Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal The candidate must have experience with all aspects of the trust and estate administration process, including the following : Marshalling, organizing and analyzing asset information; Valuation of assets and strategize allocation to subtrusts; Preparation of inventories, asset allocation agreements, asset transfer documents, and Judicial Council forms; Researching and drafting grant deeds, trust transfer deeds, and supporting documents; Drafting probate pleadings, including fiduciary reports/accountings, Spousal Property petitions, Heggstad petitions, etc.; Assisting with Estate and Gift Tax return preparation. A Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program. Experience in trust, estate or probate administration required. Should have ability to disminate information from bank, brokerage and other financial statements. Must have ability to communicate effectively with clients, financial institutions, government agencies and attorneys. Familiarity with local court rules and procedures is needed. Should be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, Publisher.
