Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist with preparing responses to discovery (document requests, interrogatories, and subpoenas). Will summarize deposition transcripts. Conduct legal research and investigation. Prepare witness binder for depositions. Prepare notebook for mediations. Review, redact, bates-stamp and prepare documents for production and service. Coordinate expert retention and expert review of records. Assist in preparing motions, declarations, exhibits and other supporting documents. Assist with all aspect of trial preparation and coordination of experts and witnesses. ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate is needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree is preferred. Should have 4+ years of experience in a civil litigation firm. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel) and MS Outlook is needed. Proficient in Westlaw and other online database research is essential. Knowledge of civil discovery practices is needed. Familiar with ProLaw or other docketing programs are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.
