Family Law Attorney The candidate will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions. Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies. Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks. Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action. Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence. Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings. Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects. Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience is required. Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred. Should have 1-2 years experience working in a law firm environment. Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
