Legal Assistant Paralegal Duties: Preparing accountings and reviewing fiduciary income tax returns, arranging periodic distributions, interacting with fiduciary tax return preparers and trust beneficiaries and working on estate tax returns. Estate planning - reviewing wills, trusts, limited liability company documents, titling assets to effectuate an estate plan. Preparing Excel spreadsheets and Word documents, and involvement with GEMS (or equivalent fiduciary accounting software).
Qualifications: Prior law firm/bank trust department/accounting firm experience helpful. Seniority Level. Fiduciary accounting background a big plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
