Real Estate Paralegal A leading law firm is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal who will be responsible for preparing and managing real estate documents. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Job Responsibilities: * Preparing engagement letters * Ordering termite inspections and title searches * Drafting deeds and ancillary loan documents * Monitoring calendars to ensure deadlines are met * Contacting tax collector/assessor offices regarding parcel and tax information * Running UCC and/or ordering official searches from county and/or state * Conducting searches to determine any liens against non-real property collateral * Obtaining filings and certificates of good standing from appropriate secretary of state's office * Filing various UCC filings * Obtaining payoff letters * Obtaining missing discharges * Sending out loan packages * Mailing all post closing disbursements * Organizing the closed files that are waiting on title policies Job Requirements: * At least three years of experience in a real estate paralegal role * Knowledge of real estate laws and procedures * Understanding of title searches and title clearance procedures * Ability to multi-task, be organized, and have an excellent work ethic * Detail-oriented and willing to learn * Ability to handle difficult clients in a friendly and professional manner Job Duties: * Preparing engagement letters * Ordering termite inspections and title searches * Drafting deeds and ancillary loan documents * Monitoring calendars to ensure deadlines are met * Contacting tax collector/assessor offices regarding parcel and tax information * Running UCC and/or ordering official searches from county and/or state * Conducting searches to determine any liens against non-real property collateral * Obtaining filings and certificates of good standing from appropriate secretary of state's office * Filing various UCC filings * Obtaining payoff letters * Obtaining missing discharges * Sending out loan packages * Mailing all post closing disbursements * Organizing the closed files that are waiting on title policies Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal Location: Bluffton, SC Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour A leading law firm is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal with at least three years of experience in the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing real estate documents, and will be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills. The Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for various duties, including but not limited to: * Preparing engagement letters * Ordering termite inspections and title searches * Drafting deeds and ancillary loan documents * Monitoring calendars to ensure deadlines are met * Contacting tax collector/assessor offices regarding parcel and tax information * Running UCC and/or ordering official searches from county and/or state * Conducting searches to determine any liens against non-real property collateral * Obtaining filings and certificates of good standing from appropriate secretary of state's office * Filing various UCC filings * Obtaining payoff letters * Obtaining missing discharges * Sending out loan packages * Mailing all post closing disbursements * Organizing the closed files that are waiting on title policies The ideal Real Estate Paralegal will have excellent knowledge of real estate laws and procedures, a good understanding of title searches and title clearance procedures, the ability to multi-task, be organized, and have an excellent work ethic, as well as being detail-oriented and willing to learn. The successful applicant will also be able to handle difficult clients in a friendly and professional manner. This is a full-time position, with a salary of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
