Litigation Paralegal The candidate will maintain firm's case management system for all client matters including oversight of tasks and deadlines. Draft declarations, prepares formal discovery, draft correspondence, and coordinate court filings. A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years in a law firm setting as a paralegal or attorney in a management capacity required. Must also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor. Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. Family law paralegal with min 5 years CA family law experience required. Available option for hybrid office/remote with 3 days per week in office and 2 days work from home required. Charismatic and clear communication with clients required. Ability to manage client cases, calendar, workflow and interact with team attorneys required. Experienced with client intake, retainers, discovery, pleadings, communications with court clerks and opposing counsel required. Tech savvy computer skills including Gmail suite, legal case management software, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat required. Knowledge of family courts including deadlines, filing procedures, interaction with court clerks, attorney service and court filings, scheduling court appearances and appointments with experts and counsel required. Skilled with family law paralegal tasks including client intake, retainers, discovery, pleadings, communicating with court clerks and opposing counsel. Detail oriented required.
