Paralegal/Firm Administrator The candidate should have experience and will work directly with our attorneys managing clients and firm operations, organizing court and staff calendars, preparing for cases, and maintaining case files. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work in an often high-stress environment while being organized, responsible, and committed to meeting the needs of our clients and law firm. Manage the collection of client information and supporting documentation; Compile information for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests; Draft documents intended for clients, court, and opposing counsel; Develop a case file indexing system that can be used as archive for ongoing and completed cases; Responsible for client billing and receivable processes; Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings; Communicate directly with clients and attorneys daily; and Monitor changes to court filing practices and procedures to ensure firm compliance. Experience working in a law firm or as an executive assistant at the corporate level; Excellent communication and organization abilities; Strong sense of personal responsibility for his or her work; Ability to manage multiple projects and work on deadline; Comfort with technology, including Microsoft suite and cloud-based file management and billing; Interest in working with people directly, particularly in complex and high-stress situations; and Trainable while also showing ability to self-direct and prioritize personal workflow. Associate Degree in Paralegal studies; 3+ years of experience consistent with required qualifications; Legal experience with exposure to family law issues; Previous use of cloud-based file management; Familiar with basic bookkeeping and/or possess ability to manage financial accounts; and Experience in using legal database software.
