Paralegal for Family Law/Personal Injury Law Office The candidate will preparation, proofreading, filing, and service of legal documents, managing attorney calendars, organizing and maintaining client electronic files, correspondence and communication with clients, courts, and attorneys. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MyCase, Adobe Acrobat, DissoMaster, Proprietizer, and Client Database. Must have knowledge on how to order client's medical records and summarize. Must have knowledge of Civil Procedure and Local Rules. Must be knowledge of Discovery process. Applicants must be able to work cooperatively, communicate well, have a professional appearance and demeanor, good judgment, and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. ABA Approved Paralegal certificate. 3+ years of family law experience is required. 32-40 hours per week. Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills are essential. Efficiently prioritize multiple assignments in a timely manner. Organize detailed financial documents. Participate in case planning, development and management. Must be familiar with legal calendaring timelines and local and state court rules.
