Paralegal - Estate Planning The candidate must have 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration and probate as follows: Preparation of Revocable Trusts & Irrevocable Trusts; Preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, and related documents; Preparation of Deeds and related documents for the transfer of real property title; Trust Administration Accounting Preparation; Meeting with clients to understand their wishes and review plans with attorneys; Meeting with client to execute estate plans; Trust asset allocations and sub-trust funding (such as deeds and related forms), Affidavits, and working with appraisers, etc. Heggstad Petitions; Probate proceedings (from commencement of proceeding through final distribution). High school or equivalent (Required). Experience of 1-3 year (Required). Must have ability to function at a high level, assuming significant responsibilities are also required. Candidate will often work directly with clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Must be a California Notary (or be able to become one). Must be an experienced estate planning / trust administration paralegal to join the well-established practice group. Should be highly motivated, detail orientated, a team player with a positive attitude.
