Personal Injury Paralegal - Law Firm Law firm in the Ridgefield/Danbury area is in search of a full-time Personal Injury/Litigation Paralegal to manage cases from inception through trial. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal to join a well-established law firm that is committed to providing excellent client service. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: * Opening of assigned client files and managing file handling * Gathering of all necessary documents (accident report, photos, setting up insurance claims, etc.) * Collection and review of all medical bills and medical records * Demand preparation * Communicate with clients * Communicate with insurance carriers * Drafting of complaints * Drafting of pleadings * Facilitating discovery * Communicate with opposing counsel * Coordinate and schedule depositions * Trial preparation * Manage court docket calendar Requirements * At least two years of experience in handling Connecticut personal injury cases * Highly organized and detail oriented * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with attorneys, staff and clients * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment * Experience in Needles case management a plus but not required Salary and Benefits Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
