Family Law Paralegal Duties: Managing client files. Drafting pleadings and correspondence. Assisting Attorney with projects, as requested, and as time allows. Meeting and talking with clients. Determining and calendaring statutory deadlines and performing legal research.
Qualifications: Must hold a valid Certificate of Completion or degree from an accredited Paralegal Program. 2 years' administrative experience is a plus. Prior family law paralegal experience is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. Ability to use Windows based systems including Outlook, Word, Excel as well as data entry skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Punctuality and dependability are a must. Excellent calendaring skills is required.
