White Collar Health Care Fraud Paralegal / Legal Assistant Criminal Defense Responsibilities: Assist trial attorneys in white collar healthcare fraud litigation in federal courts across the United States. Assist trial attorneys with case organization, document management, discovery and production, document drafting and editing, administrative tasks, trial preparation (including witness preparation and exhibit preparation), and trial (including in-courtroom exhibit presentation using software). Perform document review and manage case documents using eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity. Communicate (orally and in writing) with attorneys, investigators, expert witnesses, federal agencies, Judge's staff, and others as required in the course of investigation and litigation. Preparing cover letters for enclosures/ mailings. Photocopying, scanning, and faxing. Organizing records / Bate stamping. Organizing files and Communicating with vendors. Client communication regarding calendar events. Schedule meetings, depositions, and other events. Answer phones / Greet Clients. Qualifications: Should have 1 year of experience on litigation support projects or an undergraduate degree. Criminal or Litigation Experience is a plus. Excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software. Microsoft Suite and E-filing Federal and State. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment. Customer-focused, congenial, professional attitude for working on-site with health care professional clients. Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under strict time constraints.
