Title : Immigration Paralegal

Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare family-based (including consular or removal) and/or humanitarian immigration applications to the government. Use internal systems, and adhere to procedures for documentation and client satisfaction purposes. Communicate with clients and/or government agents, elicit information in a timely manner, and prepare immigration forms, letters, and other documents. Ensure all deadlines are met, update the internal case management system, and update clients. Provide exceptional customer service. Make photocopies, send emails, scan documents, file documents/files, and other clerical duties as assigned. Conduct research regarding government procedures. Acquire and demonstrate skills and knowledge of the legal immigration process to the Attorneys by assisting in the preparation of applications and well as receive client calls regarding pending matters. Should have the ability to follow instructions, adhere to procedures, be very well organized, work in a fast-paced environment, and deliver customer service; ability to effectively proofread and edit letters, data on forms; have an excellent understanding of English grammar and attention to detail; ability to manage a high-volume caseload, manage deadlines and expectations; ability to deliver excellent customer service and be a team player in a busy environment, demonstrate professionalism/Respect; ability to effectively identify important information to disseminate it to clients and/or co-workers; ability to troubleshoot, analyze, interpret, and resolve issues by engaging in independent research methods prior to supervisor assistance; strong writing and organization skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive; able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) or Paralegal Certificate is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish a must).
