Part-Time Paralegal The candidate will client intake, billing, and e-filing. Preparing and drafting motions, pleadings, petitions, judgments, statements, documents, and other correspondence (e.g., debt and asset lists, witness affidavits, child support worksheets, responsive pleadings, etc.). Performing legal research. Maintaining attorney calendars and case files. Scheduling appointments, court appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings. Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney, conducting client interviews. Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests. Maintaining effective communication with our clients is a major value of our firm. Should preferably have a Bachelor's Degree / Paralegal Certificate. Should have 5+ years of family/matrimonial law experience. Must have strong interpersonal skills and a talent for writing and grammar. Should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong multi-tasking, proficiency in Microsoft Word, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of probate or estate planning, real estate, Adobe, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams are preferred. Excellent computer skills. Licensed Notary Public. Bilingual is a plus.
