Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have civil litigation experience handling plaintiff-side foreclosure cases. Provide attorney support with drafting and filing pleadings, affidavits, notices and motions. Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses. Calendar Court deadlines and maintain attorney calendars. Prepare foreclosure judgment packages and hearing packages pursuant to Judge and County requirements. Organize and index deposition and trial binders. Compile and organize deposition and trial exhibits. Capable of managing a case load of over 100 litigated files. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks. Update client systems (LPS, TEMPO, VENDORSCAPE, SERENGETI) and the firm case management system with status updates and hearing results, as required. Review exception reports for escalated files. Oversee timeline management deadlines via Perfect Practice to ensure all files remain in compliance. Review and advise on files for audits received by compliance for rebuttal and/or remediation. Responsible for providing monthly status reports for clients. Communicate with opposing parties, Judge's Assistants and clients. Liaise between internal/external third parties. Any other responsibilities assigned by the Attorney and/or Manager, as applicable. Must have 3 + years experience with Foreclosure Litigation. Paralegal Certification preferred.
