Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills. Conduct legal research - medical, scientific, technical, product information. Organize medical examinations. Liaise with and interview experts, medical personnel, law enforcement officers. Communicate with the insurance carrier and opposing counsel. Should have 1+ years of experience in law and be licensed in Maryland. Washington D.C., Virginia is a plus. Familiarity with various legal documents is required. Prior District Court trial experience is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed with an ability to build rapport with clients. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Managerial experience, able to direct and lead a team required. Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
