is looking for an Associate Attorney to join their real estate and/or civil litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have superior legal research skills, experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, and strong organizational skills. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Assisting the firm's senior attorneys in supervising a heavy & diversified client base. Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc. Communicating with the firm's clients as well as opposing parties Research with regard to simple and complex legal, ethical, and regulatory matters. Assisting the firm's senior attorneys in supervising various duties delegated to legal & non-legal staff. The successful candidate must be currently admitted to practice law in Rhode Island (Massachusetts admission is a plus). They must also possess strong legal research skills, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and have the highest ethical standards and professional integrity. Compensation for the position is competitive and commensurate with previous experience. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, and paid time off.
