Legal Secretary Duties: Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, documenting actions, inputting information into file database and case management software, and confirm case status with attorneys. Help develop cases by maintaining contact with attorneys and clients involved in cases; scheduling meetings; drafting and filing pleadings; case law and expert research. Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress. Requirements: 2+ years' experience in legal field. Ability to work early mornings, holidays, and weekends. Ability to work as a part of a team dynamic. Clear, concise and comprehensive verbal communication skills. Hard-working, detail-oriented, and organized. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree. 5 year experience in legal field. Fluent in English and Spanish. Dependability. Research skills. Legal administration skills. Client relationships. Planning and Organization skills. Strong technical skills.
