## Estate Planning, Probate & Guardianship Paralegal - Law Firm in Renton, WA The Law Firm in Renton, WA is looking for a highly-skilled and experienced paralegal to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, passion for excellent client service, and a desire to continuously improve efficiency. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, personal or professional experience surrounding the needs of the elderly and disabled, and who is a team player. **Compensation**: $65,000 DOE **Responsibilities**: - Drafting, editing and finalizing estate planning documents (Last Will and Testaments, Trusts, and Pleadings) - Preparation of deeds and other transfer documents - Preparation of trust, probate, and guardianship accountings - Client meetings and signings - Ability to meet billable goals **Qualifications**: - At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting - Great time-management skills, and organizational skills - Strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar - Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred - Excellent work ethic - Organized time and file management - Ability to prioritize, calendar, monitor, and meet all deadlines - Excellent writing, grammar, and proofing skills with strong attention to detail - Experience in tracking billable hours - Experience drafting, editing, and finalizing estate planning documents, including, but not limited to, Last Will and Testaments Trusts, and Pleadings - Experience in preparation of deeds and other transfer documents - Experience in preparation of trust, probate, and guardianship accountings - Working knowledge of local, state, and federal rules - Experience in Medicaid/VA a plus - Experience with new WA State Guardianship law preferred - Experience with filing in Superior Court (including e-filing in Pierce and King Counties) - Notary preferred - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel - Team player, professional, with pleasant, positive demeanor; and - Ready to hit the ground running - Must be willing to undergo a background check ## About the Law Firm: The Law Firm in Renton, WA provides legal services in the areas of Estate Planning, Probates, Guardianship, and Elder Law.
