Prosecuting Attorney The candidate will be responsible for significant courtroom and trial work including plea negotiations, pretrial hearings, jury and bench trials, sentencing hearings and appeals. Additionally, the job includes providing advice to law enforcement and working closely with victims of crime. Courtroom and criminal law experience is required as well as excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. The applicant must exhibit attention to detail and the ability to work professionally with attorneys and staff under pressure. Must have a true passion for public service and a self-starter who is comfortable with a high-volume caseload. WSBA preferred.
