Bilingual Immigration Attorney Spanish/English The candidate should have 2 years experience to fight for our clients' rights in immigration court, federal court, state court, and at USCIS and the BIA. The successful candidate will: represent detained and non-detained immigrants before the immigration courts in Baltimore and Arlington; fight removability and work with families to present defenses to removal; prepare and present post-conviction relief; appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals and Circuit Courts of Appeal; file mandamus and/or habeas actions in US District Courts; travel to jails in the DC metro area to visit clients and prepare for hearings; prepare and file well-written and thoroughly researched briefs after productive brainstorming sessions with colleagues; participate, and take on leadership positions in the immigration law community.
