Immigration Paralegal Duties : The candidate will assist the attorneys in preparation and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions to US CIS/DOL. Conduct document review, correspond with clients and government agencies and maintain client databases. Other duties will include copying, scanning, preparing courier packages and small amount of filing. Must be motivated, organized, attention to detail is imperative and have great client service skills. Requirements : The candidate should have BS or BA Degree or Associates Degree. Should have 2 years of experience with an immigration law firm, department or corporate immigration function. Should have demonstrated ability to handle case load while maintaining high level of productivity. Must have xcellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment. Must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Should meet assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to lawyers. Must demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team. Should have ability to contribute to positive work environment.
