Paralegal The candidate will assist individuals who have been seriously injured, have been impaired in ability to work due to injuries, or have family members who have suffered personal injury or death due to anothers negligence. The firm works in the practice area of personal injury. Multitask in a highly dynamic work environment while providing detail-oriented data management and professional customer service to even the most challenging clients. Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court system. Capability to assess liability and damages and draft demand packages. Drafting and filing of pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions and other legal documents. Assist in negotiation of settlements. Assist the attorney with scheduling of discovery, depositions, mediations, trials, and other proceeding. Maintain calendar and attentiveness to deadlines. Cultivate relationships with the firms existing and future clients. Should have 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with time management systems is preferable. Must have knowledge of relevant Washington State statutes, filing and service requirements. Should be a strategic decision maker; able to produce high-quality work under tight timelines.
