Litigation Paralegal The candidate will join Insurance Defense law firm. Will assist in all aspects of case preparation and file management up to and including settlement or trial. Duties and responsibilities include: Corresponding with clients, insureds, adjusters and outside counsel. Preparation of trial notebooks, trial exhibits and other evidence for use at trial. Schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations. Draft subpoenas, motions and other legal documents and correspondence. Review assigned cases periodically to determine status. Drafting and responding to discovery. E-filing through the courts. Should have insurance defense litigation experience, thrive in working independently, and possess a strong eye for detail.
