Part-time Litigation Legal Secretary/Receptionist Duties: Calendaring. Support and preparation of pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, requests and responses for document production. Scheduling depositions and arbitrations. Preparation of trial exhibits and notebooks. TOC/TOA. Transcription. Scanning, filing, and indexing case documents. E-filing in both state and federal courts. Travel arrangements. Office supply management. Front desk reception. Qualifications: Must have 7+ years LITIGATION secretarial experience required. Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal rules of court, filing and calendaring requirements, PACER. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. WordPerfect is a plus, but not required. Self-starter, able to work independently. Able to handle a high volume of communications. High level of communication skills (both oral and written). Ability to move quickly and accurately between multiple areas of job duties. Excellent phone etiquette and prior receptionist experience. Type 65+ WPM. Excellent proofreading and organizational skills, attention to detail. Excellent English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation; business letter writing.
