Paralegal The candidate should have five year's experience. Should have substantial independent working experience in the litigation and real estate areas. Draft and edit real estate and litigation documents under attorney direction. Know or know where to find filing requirements of courts, lending institutions and governmental agencies. Know or learn e-filing requirements. Maintain electronic and physical legal files including general organization, index documents, prepare exhibits and post-closing file management. Maintain and track schedules, deadlines and calendars. Schedule meetings, court appearances and closings. Research and respond to inquiries and requests for information. Provide other support as necessary. Also requires secretarial support tasks including word processing, time entry, filing and telephone/reception coverage routinely. Strong word processing skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
