Criminal Paralegal Duties: Calendaring and managing client deadlines; keeping case files organized; updating client information, notes, time and expenses in Clio, client management software; Preparing and filing legal documents in municipal, justice, county and federal courts; Daily client communication; Obtain information from law enforcement agencies or other sources and communicate with opposing counsel regarding discovery, motions and interview dates. Assist in trial preparation when needed.
Qualifications: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and basic research skills. Excel in time management with the proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
