Estate Attorney The candidate will get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence. Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects. Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings. Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks. Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions. Litigating matters in circuit courts in the areas of real estate, business, and/or probate. Managing and conducting follow-up communication with current or previous clientele. Engaging in the appropriate marketing of the Firm. Supporting the partner and staff of the Firm in any other legal, business, or administrative matters as requested. Playing a critical role in assisting the managing partner with the growth of the firm. Conducting real estate closing. Should have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.). Member of the Virginia Bar is needed. Should have 1-2 years experience working in a law firm environment. Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required. Should be able to work independently while handling multiple files. Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred.
