Estate Administration Paralegal Responsibilities: Assignments as directed by attorneys within the Firm involving legal research, drafting, organization of exhibits and other documents, and the filing of documents with Court within both the State and Federal (PACER) systems. Assist with filing (electronic and hard copy) as appropriate within the Firm's storage system(s). Managing multiple Estates and deadlines on a daily/weekly/long-term basis. Appropriately recording time for billable activities to be included on invoices to clients of the Firm. Taking messages for attorneys or staff as appropriate. Interacting with visitors to the Firm. Adhere to and promote positive interactions with Firm attorneys, staff co-workers, clients, and Firm vendors. Fill in for other administrative staff on a temporary basis as necessary.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree. Bachelor's degree and experience within a law firm setting preferred. A paralegal Certificate is preferred. Must have 3 years of experience as an Estate Paralegal. Should have 2 years of experience using Lackner and Quickbooks software. Proficiency in Lackner and Quickbooks software for the estate administration process. Proficiency use computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.
