Paralegal- Trial Department Responsibilities: Management of the scheduling order and deadlines therein. Preparation of Witness/Exhibit Lists, Pre-Trial Inserts and Pre-Trial Orders. Working with the attorneys to identify key evidence for trial and then marshalling that evidence for introduction at trial. Requesting/preparing trial subpoenas (State & Federal Courts). Scheduling trial testimony of experts/client's treating physicians (either live appearance at trial of video trial deposition).
Qualifications: 2-5 years of Casualty Litigation experience is a must. High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required. Basic legal research skills (Westlaw). Professional written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
