Paralegal - Workers' Compensation The candidate should have degree and/or certifications in paralegal studies or other related field of study or equivalent work experience in a comparable role. 3 years of experience as a paralegal required. Experience with billing hours and Worker's Compensation is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by the ability to interact face-to-face, using electronic media and over the phone required. Proficiency in or ability to learn a variety of technology platforms, including PCs, Adobe and PerfectLaw required. A typical day in this role will include lots of variety and challenge such as drafting pleadings and settlement documents, requesting and organizing medical records, analyzing various records for production, and interacting with your team, outside counsel, doctors and court personnel.
