Associate Attorney The candidate will do client interviews, developing estate plans including preparing and executing legal documents, creating plans and preparing applications to achieve Medicaid eligibility, handling all facets of a real estate transaction, from contract to closing, and the preparation and execution for guardianship. Should have 1-3 years of experience in elder law, estate planning and trusts, probate and administration, guardianship, Medicaid planning and residential real estate transactions. Should be a self-starter with strong communication, analytic and organizational skills. Should also have a strong moral and ethical compass and the patience and compassion needed to work with elderly clients. The ability to work as a team member is critical. Should have some experience with most aspects of estate planning, including planning for persons with special needs, probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accounting, as well as have an underlying understanding of general Elder Law and Medicaid. Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
