Title : Litigation Attorney

Litigation Attorney Candidate will work primarily with Litigation Team. Will be responsible for assisting Senior Attorneys / directing legal staff with drafting litigation documents. Responsible for communicating with opposing council extensively, as well as providing status updates to clients via phone, email, and web based communication systems. Review loan documents, pleadings, closing documents, and bankruptcy documents. Review and edit document drafts before sending to opposing council. Assist Senior Attorneys as needed. Draft Discovery requests and responses. Appear at hearings and trials. Draft responsive legal pleadings associated with motion practice. Offer guidance to legal staff. Effectively review and cure title issues. Qualifications: Bachelor and JD Degree required. Admission to practice in New York State required. 3 years prior litigation experience. Related experience with Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Litigation, and Title experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to correctly complete assignments/projects within strict deadlines. Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task, as well as detail-oriented, flexible, and personable.
