Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will work for law firm practicing in the areas of employment law, auto accident and workers' compensation. Should be personal injury paralegal with 1 year of experience. Will be the primary support to attorneys and will be performing a variety of tasks as needed to support the firm, while assisting with client communication, monitoring cases, maintaining calendars and office administration. Also be responsible for taking calls from potential client. While maintaining professionalism and excellent client-relations skills, paralegals are expected to manage all aspects of a case including to, primary contact for all involved parties, use of case management system, evaluation of medical records and investigation, and preparation of court and settlement documents. Manage a case load of approximately 125-150 car accident cases. Accurately draft letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions. Continually communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and adjusters. Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens). Accurately maintain case management data in our case management database. Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation. Should be proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents. Must be proficient in preparing discovery responses. Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation is required. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person, and in email. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred experience in Mac OS, Chrome, Dropbox, and Slack. Spanish is preferred.
