Legal Assistant/ Paralegal The candidate will be ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records; Handling third-party invoices; Set up new files/cases/organize claims and/or client files; Handle case-related emails, faxes, mail, and documents, ensuring they are saved to system; Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while still paying attention to details; Proficient in typing; Highly organized and productive; Detail oriented and ability to multi-task; Able to work independently; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, Outlook; Ability to think quickly and analytically, manage multiple priorities under short deadlines, Ability to follow through with assignments and keep attorney apprised of claim status, Excellent computer skills, including ability to efficiently and quickly prepare and edit documents, Experience with client intake, Experience ordering medical records, Experience drafting correspondence to insurance adjusters, Fluency in English required, and Spanish a plus, Be available to work 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, Professional appearance, Attendance & punctuality are extremely important, Maintain client confidentiality, Strong organizational skills & attention to detail, Able to work independently and to stay on-task and to follow up on tasks.
