Family Law Attorney The candidate should have 3-5 years of family law experience that is self-motivated, committed and articulate. Should have 3 years of family law experience. Transferable book of business preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Would be responsible for initial client meetings, legal research, data entry, and handling assigned cases from start to finish. Responsible for drafting pleadings, communication with clients and opposing counsel, attending law and motion hearings, depositions and evidentiary hearings/trial. Should preferably have Experience in drafting declarations, memorandum of points and authorities, and responding to pleadings. Should preferably have clear understanding and ability to implement, among other things, the California Rules of Court, evidence code and code of civil procedure. Should preferably have drafting and reviewing discovery, assessing sufficiency of response, drafting meet and confer letters, and drafting and responding to motions to compel. Experience with Abacus Law, Microsoft Office, and Dissomaster/X-Spouse a plus. Should preferably have experience serving as principal attorney/counsel in court where one or more issues was submitted for decision.
