Paralegal Trainee The candidate will be responsible for handling a large volume of Social Security cases. Will be speaking to our clients while assisting them in the process of obtaining their Social Security Benefits. will be responsible for requesting medical records, filing appeals, creating medical summaries, creating attorney briefs, and preparing files for the attorney to use at the hearings.
The candidate with experience would be preferred, but is not required as we will do all of the training in house. 2 years legal experience preferred. Experience in Social Security is preferred (preferably in large volume). Must have: Excellent written and verbal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Case Management Software). Excellent organization skills. Able to multi-task. Eager to learn. Able to adapt to a fast-pace work environment. Capable of managing employees and being managed.
