Paralegal / Case Manager Duties: Manage a Personal Injury Portfolio of approximately 125 cases on an ongoing basis. Reports to the CEO/Owner of the firm. Responsible for performing Intakes on potential new clients. Assist with the resolution of Property Damages claims. Manage the interface between the Legal Assistant and Paralegal. Perform detailed investigations on all facts of the case. Daily perform the duties to support both clients and providers through the treatment phase. Develop the Demand Package to the Insurance Companies. Effective negotiate the settlements of the case with the Insurance Adjustors through the Attorney.
Qualifications: Certified Paralegal, Paralegal Degree or College Degree with work related experience in personal injury claims. Strong technical skills, such as typing, and have a good working knowledge of WordPerfect and/or Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to work independently or as a team, prioritize and, multitask effectively. An attention to detail, as well as the ability to prioritize, organize and, multitask to meet daily deadlines. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and correspond in a professional manner. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional verbal, oral, and written business grammar.
