Trial Attorney Responsibilities: Handle client interface/meetings. Drafting motions, pleadings, memorandum, discovery demands and responses and correspondence, etc. Handling all aspects of a criminal case from investigation through trial and/or sentencing. Handling significant court time. Advancing education by attendance at local, state and national conferences. Handling the management of case deadlines Qualifications: Must have admission to the Michigan State Bar. Must be experienced in all aspects of criminal law, adult and/or juvenile, felony and misdemeanor, investigation, pre-charge negotiation, bond, risk assessment, mitigation, case strategy, motion practice, no stone unturned discovery practice, trial, and sentencing advocacy. Must be experienced in attending Court appearances in MichiganMust be an effective and clear communicator. Must give exceptional client service. Must be able to track and meet minimum billable requirements. Must be an excellent and creative writer. Must believe in the Constitution and be willing to take on the charge every day. Must be a sound analyst, collaborator and implementer of trial strategy to accomplish client goals
