Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Generally supporting attorneys with disclosure/discovery, trial preparation, and pre-trial motions in first and third party insurance defence cases. Experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records is preferred. Should have the ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and prioritize workload in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. Must have Paralegal degree, certificate, and/or paralegal education. Should have 1-5 years of paralegal experience preferably in insurance defense or personal injury environment. Must have familiarity with Court Rules and Procedures. Should have experience with disclosure/discovery process. Must have trial preparation experience. Should have ability to draft routine motions, discovery, and legal memoranda. Should have understanding of medical terminology and records. Must have ability to produce concise medical and other record summaries. Should have understanding of internet information resources and software applications with the ability to develop greater automation expertise.
