Certified Paralegal - Civil Law Responsibilities: Keep MCLE Credits up to Date. Client Intake. Timekeeping. Conducting Legal Research Independently. Draft Briefs, Discovery, Financial Disclosures, Motions, Memoranda and Responses. Correspond with Clients, Courts, Experts, Opposing Counsel, Opposing Party and other Services. Organize and Manage Client Files. File Forms with Court using Odyssey eFile CA. Meet Filing Deadlines. Provide Outstanding Customer Service to Clients. Qualifications: Paralegal Certification of 5+ Years. MCLE Accredited. 5+ years' experienced Civil Law Certified Paralegal. Candidate will assist with expanding number of Civil Law Clients. Bilingual is a Plus. Proficient with Judicial Council Forms, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook MyCase and Odyssey eFile CA. Strong Research, Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Experience Drafting Petitions, Complex Pleadings, Financial Affidavits and Discovery. Organized, Multi Tasked and Detail Oriented. Works Well under Pressure and Deadlines. Takes Initiative while Working Independently and also Work as Part of a Team. Strong Customer Service Skills and the Ability to Interact with Clients and Coworkers Professionally.
