Associate Attorney - Litgation The candidate must pass a background check and be able to provide two professional references. All candidates will be subject to pre-employment screens and confirmation of eligibility to work in the United States. Candidates may also be subject to criminal and/or credit history checks and reference checks depending on the nature of the position for which they are applying. Should be familiar with the rules of evidence and have experience in foreclosure law, bankruptcy, litigation, and a general understanding of all aspects of property law. Duties: Drafting and/or review of legal documents and pleadings, arguing motions, handling discovery, trial preparation and legal research; Management of file caseload; Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys; Court Appearances. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in South Carolina with licensure in additional states preferred.
