Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury) Duties: Manage a work unit that is responsible for approximately 400 personal injury cases to ensure that team members responsibilities and goals are met. Litigate cases for maximum settlement judgments. Take and defend depositions. Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed. Maintain heavy communication with clients, opposing counsel and adjusters. Negotiate settlements as needed, outside of mediation and trial. Meet monthly established goals and metrics. Manage performance issues that fall below standards. Requirements: JD Degree required. Must have an active TX Bar license. 3 years of experience in personal injury as an Attorney. 3+ years of experience managing staff. Ability to handle a high-volume caseload. Excellent customer service skills.
