Settlement Paralegal The candidate will assist with the disbursement of settlement monies. Check on final balances/liens, request reductions, and contest charges with Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare/VA. Review liens and conditional lien itemizations. Work with clients to obtain Specific POA. Assist with the disbursement of monies held in trust. Review Trialworks, the case management system to ensure all proper documentation is in place and file closures. Must be able to apply critical thinking to all components of personal injury settlements.
