Attorney Development Specialist The candidate will be responsible for meeting staffing needs in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively with ADPs and ADMs to ensure staffing requests are met in a thoughtful, efficient manner. Providing appropriate staffing in response to requests requires close attention to and monitoring of associate availability, associate experience and professional development, and associate retention. Responsible for assisting the development of an efficient staffing function, documenting the requirements and working with technical staff and ADMs to implement these requirements. Supports ADMs and practice groups by gathering, organizing and regularly disseminating associate information related to assignment system information, hours reports, deal staffing, work experience, associate availability and performance feedback. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
The candidate have a Bachelor's or other undergraduate degree is required. Have 4-7 years experience in HR, HR Systems, Business Analysis, IT or related field is required. Established proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is preferred. Knowledge of electronic databases, viDesktop and Survey Monkey is a plus. Proven dedication to excellence in customer service is desirable. Excellent attention to detail is an asset. Excellent typing, written and verbal communication skills are required. Understanding of and familiarity with the diverse practice areas within a large law firm is a plus.
