Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary The candidate will work closely with one or more attorneys to complete assigned tasks. Communications with clients, courts and other parties. Draft and revise documents, agreements, and correspondence. Prepare spreadsheets, document analysis and perform online records searches. Organize and track projects to completion to and ensure timely handling of filings and records. Scanning, filing, calendaring, and prioritizing tasks. Time entry and client billing. Should have some experience in real estate or business transactions. Experience with probate and estates is a plus. Should strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze and work through tasks as assigned. Should have strong interpersonal and writing skills and be customer service oriented. Should possess strong technical skills, such as typing, spelling, grammar and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Should have the ability to work independently, learn new skills, pay attention to detail, organize, prioritize and multitask effectively to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Should have the ability to follow instructions and guidelines, and communicate and correspond in a professional manner.
