Real Estate Paralegals and Title Examiners The candidate will search real estate records, examine titles, or summarize pertinent legal or insurance details for a variety of purposes. May compile lists of mortgages, contracts, and other instruments pertaining to titles by searching public and private records for law firms, real estate agencies, or title insurance companies. Conduct title or review title searches that were done by a third party companies. Must have an understanding of what each title search is showing and be able to detect potential problems with the title of the property thats involved. The candidate must have 3-5 years of Real Estate/Finance experience. Should have experience of preparing UCC financing statements, preparing Closing Instruction Letters, preparing closing documents and binders, reviewing title policies and working with title companies regarding any policy issues. Must be familiar with Filing appropriate documents with the Secretary of State, Department of Corporations, Internal Revenue Service and/or the Franchise Tax Board. Experience with claims and compliance is preferred. Familiarity with TRID, GFE, and HUD closings from start to finish is essential. In depth knowledge of SoftPro is a plus.
