Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Corresponding and communicating with clients; Calculating and calendaring statute of limitations and rules-based events; Drafting and filing complaints; Drafting pleadings and discovery; law and motion documents; Scheduling and preparing for depositions; Requesting medical records; reviewing and analyzing said records; Experience compiling medical records in chronological order and creating Medical Records Summaries and Medical Expense Summaries; Preparation and service of subpoenas; Filing in State and Federal Courts; Scheduling, maintaining, and updating attorney's calendar; Working with experts and expert discovery; Drafting settlement accounting sheets; Working with lien holders to confirm and negotiate lien amounts; Communicating with insurance companies through the claims process. Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a civil litigation legal paralegal. Must be well organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Possess excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills. Must have the ability to identify urgent tasks and prioritize time accordingly. Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation. Must be well organized, extremely detail oriented, and tech-savvy. Must possess excellent document preparation, communication, and prioritization skills.
