Immigration Paralegal The candidate will help with preparing immigration petitions and often work directly with the client and/or attorney. The Paralegal must be able to take ownership of their work and require little to no supervision. Should have 3 years experience with immigration law as a paralegal. Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including to VAWA, Family-Based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, TPS, DACA, U- Visa, T- Visa, and Consular Processing. Experience using Adobe Pro and Docketwise is a plus. Responsibilities: Completing Declaration and Affidavit interviews with clients. Proactively communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding case processing issues, assisting with collecting required documents; Follow internal intake procedures after a client retains firm; Responding to new client inquiries on various platforms; Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications; Preparing and drafting cover letters and other notices as it relates to Immigration Matters; Assisting with overflow tasks.
