Condominium Attorney The candidate will be responsible for: legal research; contract review; letters of opinion; violation demand letters; attending board meetings; work with multiple clients; and timely follow-ups on various, related tasks. Will manage Board/Owner communities' issues. Draft, finalize, and record documents related to Condominium, Homeowner, and Townhome Associations. Maintain strong knowledge of Condominium Statutes and advise the Board of Directors regarding them. Participate in all Continuing Legal Education trainings.
The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience. Should be licensed in Illinois and have strong writing and analytical skills. Trial and arbitration experience preferred. Knowledge of and experience with the Illinois Condominium Property Act/Common Interest Community Association Act a plus. Should have in depth knowledge of the Homeowners Association Governing Documents (Declaration, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations). Familiarity with Illinois Condominium law helpful.
